Oh, this precious family. I’ve been photographing them since they were pregnant with their first. I love the relationships I form with my clients, as I’ve always believe they lead to the best images!
When I was approached to photograph Major Perez’s homecoming, I was truly honored. I’ve photographed many special events, but a military homecoming was something I had not checked off my list yet. I have such respect for those who serve but also for their families who make such a sacrifice. Our afternoon started at Richmond Airport followed by a huge parade organized by their incredible neighborhood. There were neighbors dressed in red, white, and blue and waving our flag at every corner. A four car police escort led Major Perez and lots of cheers and tears flowed. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them! I must thank my second shooter, Noah, for helping me catch all the angles of the day. Good job, buddy!
Welcome home, Major!
