Each year, I design a Launch Shoot for the incoming VIPteam members that’s a fun introduction to being professionally photographed. Most of my senior clients have never participated in a professional photo shoot other than school activities or sports. It’s so exciting when they realize how easy I am to work with and my casual style of photography.

The Wind & Water theme came for my love of the natural beauty of the beach and the surrounding elements. Driftwood, sand, broken shells, and sea grass amidst the gentle river waves provided a “getaway” feel to this shoot. Yorktown Beach has a few secluded areas that were perfect for my vision. I encouraged seniors to embrace a comfortable and free feeling where windblown hair and gazing at the water were welcome! I’ve been dreaming of this shoot for years and the Class of 2020 made it come to life!
