Yay! I’m happy to announce I will now be offering private Mentoring Sessions at my Glen Allen home office starting this spring! I launched my business in 2009 while working as a Registered Nurse and raising a family. I had recently fallen in love with photography all over again. The 12 hour shifts at the hospital were becoming increasingly difficult with my husband’s out of town work schedule. I decided to take a big leap and left my hospital nursing job to be a full time business owner in 2011. It was the smartest decision I’ve ever made!

I’ve previously worked with new photographers, parents with a new camera, and creative professionals, but have not offered mentoring publicly until now! My experience creating my homemade business has been mostly trial and error and following my heart. I love to help others learn from my experiences, successes, and yes, even failures. I promise to make you feel comfortable in my cozy office and will gently encourage you to take your business/photography to the level your heart desires! (Puppy snuggles and kisses are optional!) Mentoring Sessions are held on Wednesday or Friday mornings in my Glen Allen office. Each session will include 2 hours of open discussion on any of the above small creative business or photography-related topics. A detailed questionnaire will be sent prior to our meeting so I can best serve your needs. The last half hour of the session can include headshots and/or hands-on instruction behind the camera if desired.
