Dear Class of 2019,

You did it! You’re finishing up 13 years of academic achievement and experiences. You’re at a pivotal point in your life of making big choices and embarking on somewhat of the unknown. It can be a scary, exciting time. But I’ve watched your growth from last year until now and girls, you’ve got this! Walk across that stage proud!

If I can share anything as you move on to college and adulthood, it would be that it’s okay to change your mind if your happiness depends on it. You may be going in to a program you’re excited about and then find out it’s not for you. That’s OKAY! Life is all about learning, growth, and experiences. You can also totally have more than one career. Combining your interests sometimes turns out to be a beautiful thing. Don’t be afraid of change or making mistakes.

As I think back on our year together, I will remember all your smiles and SO much laughter, your sweetness and giving hearts. I hope you will continue to nurture friendships and look back on Class of 2019 VIPteam photos with lots of love. I know I will!
