Photographing the littlest of clients doesn’t have to be stressful. My motto has always been to follow their lead and “entice” them when the time is right. My most successful sessions with little ones have been when there are no expectations and parents decide to go out and play with their kids. This is just what happened during this beautiful spring session with the most precious family!

“Tredegar Beach” is the little sandy area on the James right across from Tredegar Iron Works on Brown’s Island. The sand is always changing with the water levels and it can get crowded on hots days. But it’s one of the prettiest places in Richmond to shoot in my opinion! Enjoy this beautiful session and all the laughter and smiles we captured!
