And so it begins! The Class of 2019 rising seniors had their very first experience in front of my camera last weekend! It was fantastic and all of the girls looked amazing! I always love this first shoot because everyone starts out super nervous and by the end of the shoot, they see how easy and FUN being in front of my camera truly is! This year, we have girls representing Glen Allen, Deep Run, Hermitage, and Tucker High Schools.

My launch shoot is always a themed session with some props, but I still try to keep things fairly natural. The Butterfly Woodlands theme came from not only my love of butterflies, but of the wooded surroundings of my home. I pictured each girl mesmerized by the simple beauty of nature. The leaves on the trees had finally started to bloom and the weather was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical day!
