Mary is a rising senior at Glen Allen High School and a member of the competition and sideline cheer, gymnastics, and spring track teams. She is also the Battle of the Classes Art Captain for her class and helps motivate students to get involved with school events. Outside of school, Mary has a passion for art, jewelry making, and personal writing. She’s also adores children and is encouraging and supportive to the many children she has come to know through babysitting. She finds herself volunteering mostly for organizations that benefit children such as Anthem Lemonaid and Girl Scouts. SO amazing! Mary hopes to attend James Madison University and further her education in physical/occupational therapy or physical training.
I was so excited for Mary’s senior session. She is so kind and easy going, and I knew we would have a great time creating her portraits. Mary has an amazing sense of style and wanted her session to be unique while also including cheer photos at her high school stadium.
Mary, working with you was such a pleasure. You are such a positive role model. Keep doing you, girl!
Mary loved this line of pine trees right in my backyard!
I won’t bore you with the story on how I tried to break out my 20-year-old cheer moves alongside Mary, but I will say no one was hurt in the making of these photos. 🙂
Showing off that state champ ring!
The Carillon was perfect for this classically gorgeous look.
