Caitlin is a rising senior at Glen Allen High School and part of my Class of 2018 VIPteam. I fell in love with Caitlin’s happy nature and unique perspectives when I read her application this past winter. Caitlin is highly active in the Drama Department and has participated in every musical and play since her freshman year! She’s also involved in Key Club, Battle of the Classes, Mu Alpha Theta, the Center for Education, and Barrier Breakers, a program mentoring freshman students. She also plays recreational basketball in the winter and summer. Caitlin volunteers at the Hilliard House, an interim home for adults and children. She found this experience very humbling and has gained an appreciation for the opportunities she’s been given. Caitlin is exploring college and career options in criminal psychology, forensics, or possibly theater education after high school.

When I asked Caitlin about her dream senior session, she wanted an urban setting in the city. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful backdrop in Downtown Richmond. The area is so versatile and full of hidden gems where I love to shoot. What I also love about Caitlin is her love of thrift and vintage clothing. All of her outfits from her session came from local thrift stores and I just adored everything she pulled together!
