Last summer, we planned a Disney World vacation to Fort Wilderness Resort. You have to book fairly far in advance there! Little did we know we’d have a larger RV to haul down to Florida. When we traded up our smaller trailer for more room, we decided we’d treat our sister, niece and nephew to a Disney vacation since they had never been. I’m such a big Disney fan that it hurts my heart when others haven’t had the opportunity to go! We decided to surprise them on Christmas Day, and they were fairly speechless! Ever since then, we’ve been counting down the days!

With our family, you can guarantee the trip departure time will be about 2 hours later than originally planned. We left Glen Allen with a Yukon full of 3 adults, 3 kids, and 3 full grown Labrador Retrievers pulling a 32 foot travel trailer. Yeah, we’re totally up for some crazy adventures! The first day at Disney is always at the Magic Kingdom!

You have to experience a character breakfast at Chef Mickey’s! Hollywood Studios was our last park day and it was the hottest! 95+ degrees and humid, ugh! We kept cool with Olaf! Another one of my favorite images from PhotoPass!
The fireworks and nighttime shows are magical! We can’t wait to go back!
